Signs you have pigeons
- Pigeons nesting on balconies, window ledges, ducts or AC units
- Droppings and feathers collecting on sills and parking
- Cooing and wing noise early in the morning
In high-rise Pune societies, pigeons often take over unused balconies and utility ducts. Netting the opening is the most reliable long-term fix.
How we treat pigeons
Site survey
We measure the openings and recommend netting, spikes or both.
Cleaning
Nests are removed (only when empty of eggs and chicks) and droppings are cleaned and disinfected.
Installation
UV-stabilised nets or spikes are fixed neatly so they do not spoil the look of the building.
Is it safe for my family?
Our safety approach. Our bird control is entirely humane: we exclude birds, we do not trap, poison or harm them.
Every product we use is registered with the Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC), and our technicians are trained by NIPHM. Read more about our human-safe pest control and organic pest control methods.
How to prevent pigeons coming back
- Do not feed pigeons near the building
- Close unused ducts and gaps around AC units
- Clean ledges regularly so birds do not settle
Bird netting & spikes: frequently asked questions
Does bird netting harm pigeons?
No. Netting and spikes only stop birds from landing and nesting. We never trap, poison or injure birds, and we only remove nests that are empty.
